    I've lived in Harrogate so long I remember when this ASDA had a cafe. Having said that, I've seen the standards drop considerably since then. Some staff are great, and others not so much ... but the store is convenient for the town centre. The prices are good on some things but not others ... you can find cheaper elsewhere. The real problem is that it is a dismal place to shop. It has some of the scruffiest folk in Harrogate (not all of the town is posh!). There was a homeless man the other day parked out front, clearly not indigenous to Harrogate or the UK even. Not sure how it would feel shopping here late at night. I avoid this store whenever possible.

    I have never in my life seen such filthy freezers... every single one was covered in grime, on the sliding cover and the insides looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. There were copious amounts of frozen food and dirt inside the freezers. Also the freezer cupboards weren't better ...I wished i'd taken photos , but suffice to say i'm glad I do not shop at Asda anymore. I hope that this will be addressed, I did mention it to customer services.

    I order my home shopping on the latest slot in the day - because I don't get home from work until , however, the drivers regularly turn up hour, hour minutes, even hours earlier than my chosen slot when I am still at work. Sometimes they will wait or return but a lot of the times they just leave and cancel the order and I am left wasting time chasing refunds that take a week to arrive.
